지도정보시스템의 질의어처리기 설계 = Design of Quary Processor for a Map-based Information System

국문 초록 (Abstract)

지리정보시스템은 기호와 화상자료의 조작기술을 통합하기 위한 환경을 제공한다. 이러한 지리정보시스템의 중요한 부분인 지도자료처리시스템은 지리적 정보의 다양한 표현의 대상인 지도를 컴퓨터로 처리하는 시스템이다. 이 시스템에 접근하는데 사용자가 편하고 효율적처리를 하기위해서는 전위 장치로 질의처리기가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 그러한 기능을 갖는 질의처리기의 일부를 설계한다.

Geographic Information Systems(GIS) present an excellent environment for integrating a lot of symbolic and image data manipulation techniques. Map data processing as an important GIS component, is the computer-based system which manipulates maps widely used to represent a variety of geographical information. For such a system to be computationally efficient and user-friendly, it is necessary to place a query processor at the front-end. This paper describe the design of a part of such a query processor.
