Curriculum is the core of researches on the geography as a subject. Therefore geography curriculum ought to secure not only the perfection in contents but also the observance the democratic and rational process. Evaluative efforts of geography curriculum development process were insufficient in Korea. Up to now, model adopted in curriculum development in Korea has been eclectic one of Administrative-Centralized Model and Research and Development Model. It was not a kind of model effective to value the assessed needs and situations of teachers, learners and respective regions.
