조선 성리학의 태극음양론을 통해 본 한국적 여성주체형성 이론 모색-임윤지당의 「이기심성설」에 나타난 태극음양론을 중심으로- = Search for the Theory of Korean Subject`s Formation through the Discourse of Supreme Ultimate in Chosun Dynasty`s Confucianism-Focus on the Im-Yunjidang(任允摯堂)`s Discourse of Supreme Ultimate-D12

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study observes Chosun neo-Confucianism`s perception of the Supreme Ultimate (Taiji) and Yin-Yang by relating it to the issue of ``Subject Formation.`` The purpose of this study is to apply this observation to the theoretical search for Korean subject formation. By focusing the discussion on integrating Chosun Confucianism`s Supreme Ultimate Yin-Yang theory with an ontological and axiological basis, the thesis seeks to establish an alternative concept of subject that embraces both physical and ethical subjects. For this reason, this thesis focuses on Supreme Ultimate Yin-Yang theory of Yunjidang, who is a female neo-Confucian scholar from the latter period of Chosun dynasty. Through a the theroy of Li and Chi tendency that frequently appears in Yunjidang`s studies, the thesis discusses the relationship between matrix and materiality that manifests within the process of subject formation. In this, the study discusses how the subject is embodied from materiality and simultaneously formed within the process of an ethical choice. Therefore, this thesis examines the ontological investigation of all things, including human, and observes how ethical issues were resolved on this basis. Furthermore, this study will touch upon the discussion on the subject in a neo-Confucian context, particularly concentrating on female subject formation.
