2011 <동아시아사> 교육과정 개정의 방향과 실제

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study intended to provide assistance to the revised high school curriculum of <East Asian History> which will be prepared in 2014 and enforced in 2015 by reviewing the direction and reality of the revised curriculum in 2011.
Following the mandate of the 2009 general curriculum revision, the 2011 <East Asian History> curriculum suggested the security of sequence by school class and reduction of the number of standard of accomplishment. Also reflecting the special situation at the time the revision was happening, while heeding the initial framework of 2007 <East Asian History>, it was determined to incorporate the latest research accomplishments in the academic field and suggestions from the textbook writers.
Among the revision directions suggested in the 2011 <East Asian History> curriculum, areas related to research results and efforts by the academic field made productive results which reduced the standard of accomplishment, and the effort of the academic field is expected to provide great help in the future revision as well. On the other hand, the revision direction of securing the sequence did not accomplish any outcome and ceased at just following the existing curriculum as it faced inertia by the mainstream academic field of Korean history. This direction is one part where it needs to be improved in the upcoming revision process.
