曉峰의 선사상 : 간화선과 돈오점수 및 정혜쌍수를 중심으로 = Hyobong's Seon Thought - Centering around Ganhwa-Seon, Sudden Enlightenment and Gradual Cultivation and Both Cultivation of Sam？dhi and Praj？a

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본고는 근현대 한국의 대표적인 선사의 하나인 효봉 학눌의선사상에 관한 연구이다.이 논문은 보조사상연구원의 정기학술대회에 발표한 논문으로서 근현대 한국 불교사 속에서 효봉의 선사상의 특징을 밝히기 보다는 보조 지눌의 사상과의 계승과 독자성에 주목하였다.본 연구를 위한 1차 자료로는 효봉법어집을 근거로 하였다.우선 효봉의 삶을 통하여 그가 간화선사(看話禪師)임을 밝히고 간화선 수행을 통한 깨침과 보림의 과정을 밝혔다. 이어 효봉이 당시 불교계를 바로 세우기 위하여 목우자 지눌의 결사정신의 계승과 돈오점수 사상을 계승하려는 의지가 있었음을 밝혔다.이어 지눌과 효봉의 사상 간의 계승과 독자성의 문제를 규명하기 위하여 돈오점수와 정혜쌍수에 주목하였다. 즉 ‘효봉은 간화선사로서 돈오점수와 정혜쌍수를 어떻게 인식하고 있는가?’하는 점을 통하여 지눌의 사상과의 일치점과 효봉의 독자적 특징이 무엇인지를 규명하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

I studied on Seon Thought of Hyobong-haknul, a modern Korean representative Seon master in this paper. I gave attention to the succession of Bojo's thought and Hyobong's originality than characteristics of Hyobong's thought in the modern Korean history of Buddhism. This paper is authenticated in Hyobong's Dharma words. On the assumption that he is a Ganhwa-seon master through his life, I clarified the process of enlightenment and its preservation. And I explained that Hyobong had a strong will of succession of Bojo-Jinul's thought, association of sam？dhi and praj？a and sudden enlightenment and gradual cultivation to reform Buddhism world of those days. Then I inquired into original characteristics and coincidence with Jinul's thought through the problem, 'How did Hyobong recognize Jinul's thought, sudden enlightenment and gradual cultivation and both cultivation of sam？dhi and praj？a as a Ganhwa-seon master?'
