美 軍政期 韓國 圖書館 政策에 관한 硏究 : 美 軍政廳의 中央敎育行政 官廳 文書를 중심으로 = Korean library policy under the period of U.S. military govermment in Korea

This Study is a summary of the of the official documents and reports monthly library policy which is a brought out the Bureau of Education of U.S. Military Government in Korea.
1. The Bureau of Education United States Army Military Government in Korea, the department of culture, museums and libraries subsection took charge of korean library policy.
2. The Bureau of Education Military Government required the Specialist to come from America to Korea as adviser in Library and Information Science.
3. Lee, Chai Wuk President of National Library sent a recommendation for the establishment of Korean Library School to head of the Breau of Education. In result Library School is opened in 1 April 1946 under the direction of the National Library.
4. The chief advisor of higher education United States Army Military Government instructed professors and teachers in library instruction for improvement of teaching method and supported for development of Korean library.
5. A large number of books which are government publications, books, technical magazines and educational magazines, periodicals are sent from United States America to Korean library.
