    This study was aimed to investigate the correlation of sexual consciousness and self-esteem, and the correlation of sexual consciousness and mental health. Sexual attitude comprised sexual view, sexual feeling and sexual environment. Sexual aClivity comprised masturbation, guilt feeling after masturbation, pomography, pre-marital sexual experience and guilt feeling after pre-marital sexual experience. 149(55.2%) males and 121(44.8%) females of 20’s unmarried were surveyed for this study. A questionnaire with 173 question was used for the study. It was composed of 23 questions on ’sexual attitude & sexual activity questionnaire', 24 questions on the self-esteem scale by Coopersmith and 90 questions on the Symptom Check List-90(SCL-90). Frequency analysis, t-test and Pearson’s correlation was performed on the collected data using SPSS for win 10.0. The results of the study can be summarized as follows : First, sexual consciousness was difference between males and females. Males displayed higher level of opening and approving sexual attitude and sexual activity than females. Second, the variable sexual attitude and sexual activity has significant positive correlations. Third, sexual attitude showed significant correlations in some aspect of self-esteem and mental health. Males were some correlation between sexual attitude and general self-esteem. Females were some correlation between sexual feeling and mental health. Fourth, sexual activity showed significant correlations in some aspect of self-esteem and mental health. In the case of males, gui1t feeling after masturbation was related to psychotics of mental health, and pomography was related to interpersonal sensitivity. AIso pre-marital sexual experience and general, social self-esteem was showed positive correlation. But interpersonal sensitivity was showed negative correlation. Guilt feeling after pre-marital sexual experience was related to general, social self-esteem, somatization and phobic anxiety. In the case of females, masturbation and pomography were related to mental health. Guilt feeling after masturbation was showed negative correlation with somatization. AIso pre-marital sexual experience was related to hostility, and guilt feeling about it was related to somatization. The result of this study about sexual attitude and sexual activity influences self-esteem and mental health. For the unmarried adults, sexual attitude and sexual activity program should be differ for respective genders. AIso the psychotherapist who interested mental health must consider client’s sexual consciousness in assessment, treatment and mental health of unmarried.
