微分方程式의 非自明解의 零元에 關한 硏究 = A Note on the Behavior of the Zeros of nontrivial Solutions of an even order Differential Equation

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 논문은 짝수 차수를 갖는 미분방정식 Lny=py 의 비자명해의 령원에 관하여 연구한 것이다. 중요한 결과는 다음과 같이 요약된다.
1.Lny=py의 비자명해는 k+1 개의 다른 점에서 기젓해야 n-1+k zero를 갖을 수 있다.
2.y가 E(k)의 원이면 y는 유한개의 zero를 갖고 y의 첫번째와 마지막 zero even multiplicity이고 모든 다른 것은 odd multiplicity이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This paper presents the behavior of the zeros. of nontrivial solutions of the differential equation Lny=py‥‥(*) where p is a positive continuouw function defined on (0,∞) and n>4 is an even integer.
It important results are summarized as follows:
1.A nontrivial solution of (*) can have at most n-1+k counting multiplicities, at k+1 distinct point.
2.If y is in D(k), then y has a finite number of zeros, its first and last zeros are of even multiplicity, and all other zeros are of odd multiplicity.
