리더십에서 제자도로 : 기독교 리더십의 실천신학적 재해석

국문 초록 (Abstract)

주제와 영역을 불문하고 리더십은 현대사회의 다수 학자들의 집중적인 관 심을 받는 대상이다. 그러나 다른 전통적인 신학적 주제들과는 달리, 리더십은 교회와 성경을 중심으로 하는 신학적 가치와 세속적 영역의 관심들이 무분별 하게 융합되는 폐단을 겪고 있다. 그 결과, 외형적인 성장과 수량으로 계측되 는 확장이 리더십의 궁극적 목적이나 주요 요소로 설정되는 경우도 흔하게 찾 아볼 수 있다. 물론 이런 외형적인 성장이나 숫자의 증가에 일방적으로 부정적 인 의미를 부여할 이유는 없다. 문제는 그 과정에서 기독교의 가장 핵심적인 가치들이 왜곡, 변질되는 경우가 종종 발생한다는 점이며, 이런 문제를 해결하 기 위해 리더십 형성에 필요한 신학적인 핵심가치들을 분별하여 그 내용과 형 식에 반영해야한다는 당위성의 충족이다. 본 논문은 이 과제를 수행하기 위해 실천신학이 지녀야할 인식론에 우선 주 목한다. 실천신학이라는 특정한 분야가 지닌 차별적인 요소들을 정립함으로 써, 리더십이 지니는 실천신학적 성격을 규명하는데 기초적인 틀을 제공할 수 있기 때문이다. 본고는 또한 그런 실천신학적 작업이 필연적으로 리더십과 ‘제자도’(discipleship)를 상호 연결한다고 상정한다. 제자도 개념에는 실천신 학의 인식론이 지향하는 중추적인 내용들이 다수 포함되어 있으며, 그를 바탕 으로 현대사회의 그리스도인들이 습득해야할 중요한 실천과제들이 연관되기 때문이다. 실천신학과 제자도라는 매개체를 통한 리더십은 그 기초와 방향에 서 기독교회의 존재목적에 부합한 내용들을 충분히 수용할 수 있으며, 그를 통 해 지속적인 훈련방안도 수립될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. 본 연구는 기독교 리더십에 대한 그런 전망과 기대를 바탕으로 형성되었으며, 한 편의 논문으로 마감하기 보다는 실제 현장에서 사역하는 교회의 리더들과 평신도들을 위한 구체적인 지침의 탄생과 적용으로 이어질 수 있도록 기획되었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Regardless of its themes or areas, leadership is one of the subjects with an intensive concern by many scholars in the contemporary society. However, unlike many other traditional topics in theological studies, leadership has been experiencing a problem of ignorant mixture between theological values based on the church and the scripture and secularistic interests. As a result, outer growth and numerically measuring expansion often seem to be a ultimate goal or primary element of leadership. Of course, this outer growth or numerical expansion do not have to be evaluated from an entirely negative perspective. The real issue is that the most important values of the Christianity become distorted and corrupted in this process. To resolve this distorted situation, it is necessary to discern theologically essential values for the formation of leadership and apply such values to the contents and structure of leadership. This thesis primarily pays attention to the epistemology of practical theology to perform aforementioned tasks. Because the classifying the characteristics of practical theology would provide a basic framework for the feature of leadership as a practical theology. In this aspect, this thesis presumes that such task concerning practical theology necessarily interconnect leadership and discipleship. This is because lots of cordial contents to which the epistemology of practical theology aims are included within the concept of discipleship and from this conceptual accomplishment, the significant practical tasks for the contemporary Christians could be related. Leadership through the medium of practical theology and discipleship is able to embrace the abundant contents for the existence of the Christian church in its basis and direction. In addition, certain continuous training methodologies from the previous work can be expected as well. This study is established from those expectation and anticipation, so, it is also planned for the production and application of detailed indications for the church leaders and the laity in the real context rather than being completed as a theoretical thesis.
