정재 수한삼(手汗衫)의 사용과 문화적 배경 = A Useful of the “Hansam” in Court Dance with Cultural Background

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The ‘Hansam’ is a type of dresses wearing for court dance such as Tal-chum, Nong-ak and etc. The ‘Hansam’ has long sleeves which is standing out dance pose and had been wore during court dance only. The ‘Hansam’ was a unique dress that was newly created at the end of Chosun Dynasty that had not been found any historical records of ancient neighboring countries. Originally the ‘Hansam’ is a one of traditional underwear attaching at the edge of a sleeve to hide hands. There were records in ‘Akhakgyebum’ that Jeogori in Chuyoungu was called as Hassam, for example, and its length of sleeve was 140 cm. The Hansam with long sleeves had been changed from white to various colors - white, red, green, blue and five colors. And this change raised unique Korean traditional dance performance status in terms of beauty and visual elements.
