This paper is a study of distributional pattern of urban facilities in Seoul, as a part of research works to search for traditional urban patterns of Korea, and includes survey and brief analysis of the various types of urban facilities in order. to find relationships between their distributions and urban settlements. The results of this study are that, firstly clinic is neighborhood facility, while hospital has been developed in community center, secondly drugstore and rice market are daily life oriented facilities being distributed even in urban area, thirdly public bath house, ‘as a residential activity oriented facility’ rather than ‘commercial activity oriented facility’, agglomerates into densely populated areas, having hotel-bathhouse in the central business district, fourthly inns are so traveller oriented that they are clustered around railroad stations, and finally gas station is developed along the main street.
