韓國 政治·行政體制의 變動에 따른 社會科 敎育目標의 變遷 = On the Transition of the Goals of Social Studies Caused by the Political and Administrative Changes in Korea

The aim of this study is to analyze and examine the transition of social studies with emphasis on the changes of political and social systems in Korea.
The changes of political and administrative systems have always been accompanied by the ch-anges of systematic aims. At the same time, curricular amendment and the aims of social studies have been adjusted.
The contents of this treatise are as follows,
Chapter I. Introduction
Chapter II. The changes of Korean Political and Administrative Systems and their aims.
1.The establishment of Korean Political and Administrative Systems and their changes.
2.The awns of Korean Political and administrative Systems.
Chapter III. The Changes of Educational Policy and Educational Aims.
1.The changes of educational Policy and Curriculum.
2.The changes of the goals of Social Studies.
Chapter IV. The Transition of the goals of Social Studies in Korea.
1.Period 1 (1948. Aug∼1960. Apr) -The first Republic
2.Period 2 (1961. May∼1972. Oct)-The third Republic
3.Period 3 (1972. Oct∼1979. Oct)-The fourth Republic
4.Period 4 (1981. Mar∼ )-The fifth Republic
Chapter V. Conclusion
The goals of social studies will be altered according to those of social phenomena in polities, ec-onomy, society and culture as well as the changes of political and administrative systems.
But whatever the causes of such changes may be, the aims of social studies must be based on the value and authority of human beings, citizenship and rational decision-making.
