Objectives of this study is to examine the effect of extraversion on emotional labor in
the airline industry. The data were collected from 328 airline flight attendants and ana-lyzed with SPSS 18.0.
In order to identify single regression analysis of extraversion, the principle compo-
nent factor analysis with varimax rotation was performed.
The single regression analysis was employed to examine the relationship between
extraversion factor and emotional labor.
The research findings can be summarized as follows.
First, extraversion has a negative impact on surface acting for the test of Hypothesis
1-1.
Second, extraversion have a positive effect on deep acting for the test of Hypothesis
1-2.
The implications of the findings were discussed.
