the 3 dimensional numerical analysis method compared with 2 dimensional numerical analysis method to analyze the characteristic of 3 dimensional tunnel behavior, Also measuring data were re-evaluated for tunnel behavior according to the advancing distance from the face, which was applied to the tunnel prediction method. This allows the prediction of tunnel initial displacement which is impossible to survey during construction. As a basic standard for prediction of longterm displacements, regression analysis using exponential function was carried out and the results were evaluated to be satisfactory. Also a basic plan for long-term road tunnel prediction system is proposed.
