정신지체학교 교사 및 학생 성교육 실태 분석 = The Real Situation of the Education both to Teachersand to Student on the Sex Educationin Mental Disability School

I could reach the conclusions which obtained by 150 teachers worked at 6 mentaI- challenged children's schools where located in Kwang-ju, Cholanamdo and Cholabukdothrough statistical proof as square method(x2 ) by means of the age, gender and mamageor not of the teachers, the level-difference of each school and the education career formental-challcnged childrcn likc below for both the teacher-education and the real situationof educating on sexual education in mental-challenged children's schools.First, the real situations of the teacher-education on sexual education in mental-challengedchildren's school were that the teachers who studied the sexual education were more, theeducating institutes were mainly the schools for theirselves, the article for the sexualeducation for the young was mainly V.T.R. tapes and the time-span under educating was 5hours at most. And the information of the sexual education chiefly transfcrred throughbook, its content wantcd was chiefly made up of the coping ways against the sexual actionSecond, the content of educating was mainly toward ethics like the role of the gcnder,the maintcnancc bctwcen different genders and each manners and the sexual education isthe sound understanding of the gender.The frequency that the scxual education was done was from time to time as necessarily,the adequate period, judging from this research, was from middle school and was differentfrom each school capability. Also the sexual education was mainly taught bymcdical-teachers and much used article was V.T.R. tapes.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

정신지체아도 비장애아와 마찬가지로 성적 욕구를 가지고 있으며 이를 표현할 권리를 가지고 있다. 그러나 이들은 우연학습과 상황판단력이 부족하기 때문에 그들의 행동이 비장애인에게 정신지체인의 성에 대한 그룻된 관념을 심어주기 쉽다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위한 작은 노력으로 정신지체학교 교사교육의 실태와 학생지도 실태를 알아보기 위해 광주광역시, 전라남도, 전라북도에 소재한 6개 정신지체학교 교사 150명을 대상으로 설문 조사를 하였다. 그 결과 정신지체 학교성교육을 위한 교사교육은 다소 미흡한 실정이었으며 학생지도 면에서도 더욱 체계적인 노력이 요구되었다.
