마이크로티칭 적용에서 나타난 신임교수의 수업행위 분석 = Analysis of Teaching Performances of New Professors through Microteaching Program in an University

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study aimed to analyze the characteristics of teaching behaviors in microteaching which was used for the teaching performance improvement program for newly hired professors. The procedure of microteaching consisted of consultation prior to microteaching, simulating teaching, feedback after microteaching, and revised teaching performance. This study analyzed feedbacks received during the discussion of performance and questionnaire after microteaching. The data were collected from the twenty-five newly hired assistant professors in their first semester in N University. The result shows specific characteristics from the analysis of feedback: ‘difficulties to motivate students,’ ‘effort to find effective methods for attendance check,’ ‘high passion for teaching content in their major,’ ‘high interests in using gestures and exterior expression,’ ‘high dependency on use of multi-media.’According to the result of analysis of questionnaire, it is necessary to develop teaching method about how to motivate students.
