      In those days, tourism is recognized as a experience of a local culture, So the opinion that tourism should be culture or have to seek culture is spread.
      Many local governments has been interested in the development of cultural tourism. In the urban cultural tourism development, it is necessary to meet both the view for citizens and that for visitors simultaneously.
      This aim of this study is to examine the direction of urban culture tourism development of Anyang.
      The results of this study are as follows;
      Anyang province have many types of cultural resources. Therefore, in order to expand the culture tourism market in area of Anyang province, we have to concern in the development of new culture tourism resources, local events using local festival and sports events of Anyang province.
