공간상호작용을 통해 본 신도시의 자족성과 지배-종속 관계의 변화 = Changes of Self Sufficiency and Dominance-Dependency of New Town Reflected in Spatial Interaction

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study analyzed the changes of self-sufficiency of the first new towns in Seoul metropolitan area and the dominance-dependency on the surrounding area by using the commuting trip. The commuting trip on a daily basis has a regularity, so it shows the dominance-dependency between places. Considering the new town as a unit, the self-sufficiency of generated trip improved and the dependency on the surrounding areas decreased. The changes in the pulled trip showed that Bundang new town and Pyeongchon new town have improved their dominance in other regions, but the new towns such as Ilsan, Sanbon and Jungdong have weakened their dominance in other regions as self-satisfaction has risen in new towns. Unlike other new cities, the Jungdong new town located between Seoul and Incheon, has weaker control over the other cities in Gyeonggi-do, but has a stronger grip on Incheon. The type of change of dominance relationship by pulled trip was classified three types. And four types were derived from the change of dependency relationship by generated trip. Considering the each new town and the administrative dong that constitutes the new town as the whole and the part respectively, the direction of the change shown in the whole and the direction of the change shown in the part did not coincide with each other.
