한국과 미국의 운전면허 행정처분 비교 검토

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Traffic development makes us cannot imagine the life without cars. Everybody sympathizes the convenience and fast movement of cars, but they bring about serious problems in dangers resulting from driving cars and drivers law violation.
Korea has been improving the qualities of affluent life since rapid growth of industrialization. Contrasting with this richness, a new matter of traffic emerges.
National efforts regarding traffic safety are great concerns of modern society throughout the world including the United States. Korea concentrates its efforts on the safety of drivers and pedestrians by making them observe traffic law.
There are restrictions on driving license holders that each country does for its traffic safety; administrative and criminal one. The following only looked into the former(administrative restricts on driving license) in Korea and the U.S.
This study compares the two nations about the kinds of punishments against drivers holding their licenses in the side of administrative law, and it has a meaning in drawing up better plans for securing traffic safety in Korea. Especially, each state of the U.S. has different administrative sanctions, so it examined those by focusing on New York.
