Provided that the non-expression of joy, anger, sorrow and pleasure is defined as ‘golden mean’, this study examined Wang Fuzhi`s opinions on the principle. The Chinese philosopher explained ‘golden mean’ as bupianbuyi (‘staying impartial and unbiased’). However, ‘staying impartial and unbiased’didn`t mean thinking nothing. He meant that joy, anger, sorrow and pleasure exist in our mind even though they aren`t expressed yet. He insisted that these human emotions are found in sex. After all, it concluded that bupianbuyi is ‘staying impartial and unbiased’ while joy, anger, sorrow and pleasure aren`t expressed yet. Based on understanding on Wang Fuzhi`s opinions on ‘golden mean’, this study divided bupianbuyi patterns on the four human emotions into 24 categories. In addition, the partial and biased patterns were presented in 24 frames. The famous Chinese philosopher mentioned a possibility that joy, anger, sorrow and pleasure would develop into the good. In other words, virtue can be achieved when the four human emotions take benevolence, justice, courtesy and wisdom as the frame, and benevolence, justice, courtesy and wisdom are represented in the four human emotions. Using Wang Fuzhi`s opinions, this study developed 48 emotional types based on benevolence, justice, courtesy, wisdom and the four human emotions. Then, a possibility that joy, anger, sorrow and pleasure would develop into the good by staying impartial and unbiased was analyzed
