대학신입생의 자율성과 유능성 및 대학생활 만족도 간의 시간에 따른 변화와 상호 연관성에 대한 잠재성장모형의 검증 = Effects of Parent-Child Relationship on College Freshman's Life Satisfaction Mediated by Autonomy and Competence Using Latent Growth Modeling

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 대학 신입생들의 대학생활 만족도와 관련을 갖는 신입생들의 심리적 요인들을 분석하고, 또한 이들 심리적 요인들과 부모자녀관계의 관련을 보다 심도 있게 살펴보기 위하여 시간의 경과에 따라 이들 변인들 및 변인들 간의 상호연관성이 변화하는지 살펴보았다. 이를 위하여 본 연구의 대상인 대학신입생 423명에게 대학입학 직후부터 총 3차에 걸쳐서 자율성과 유능성 및 대학생활 만족도에 대한 설문을 하였다. 부모자녀관계는 첫 번째 설문에서만 이루어졌다. 부모자녀관계를 제외하고 대학생활 만족도와 자율성 및 유능성의 변화정도를 살펴보기 위하여, 각 변인별로 잠재성장모형을 설정한 결과, 학생들의 유능성에 대한 지각 만이 선형변화모형으로 산정되었고, 나머지 변인들은 무변화모형으로 산정되었다. 본 연구결과 첫째, 부모자녀관계는 신입생들의 대학생활 만족도와 강한 영향을 준다. 둘째, 신입생들의 자율성과 유능성은 대학생활 만족도에 강한 정적 영향을 준다. 셋째, 유능성의 초기값보다 유능성의 변화율이 훨씬 강하게 대학생활 만족도에 영향을 준다. 본 연구결과의 해석과 시사점 및 제한점에 대하여 논의하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of the present study is to examine how parent-child relationship and sub elements of self-determination theory, autonomy and competence would influence on freshman's college life satisfaction employing Latent Growth Modeling (LGM). A total of 423 college freshman students participated this research. The results showed that only students' perceived competence showed the significant change model over time. The level of perceived autonomy and school life satisfaction were stable over time. The result of multivariage LGM indicated that firstly, positive parent-child relationship has significant positive relationship with school life satisfaction. Second, freshman’s school life satisfaction has strong positive relationship with percieved autonomy and competence. Third, rather than initial perceived competence, the change of perceived competence shows stronger relationship with school life satisfaction. The interpretations of this study were discussed.
