부모의 진로관련행동 및 애착과 남녀 대학생의 진로정체감의 관계 = The relationship of parent career-related behavior, parental attachment, and undergraduates' career identity

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study investigated the relationship among parent career-related behavior, parental attachment, and career identity of 362 undergraduates(male: 125, female: 237) on the basis of the data of self-report questionnaires.
Correlation, t-test, and Multiple Regression Analysis(Stepwise) were used to examine the relationships among variables and relative influences of variables. The study revealed the following results.
First, the correlational analysis showed positive relationship between attachment and career identity. While parental support associated positively with career identity, interference and lack of engagement associated negatively with career identity. But there was statistically insignificant correlation with father/mother communication, in male. This result meaned that the more attachment with parent, and the more career-related support and engagement, the stronger career identity.
Second, the differences in the career identity by attachment level and by parent career-related behavior level were revealed. Specially, there was statistically significant differences in career identity by all of the independent variables, in female. But there was statistically significant differences in alienation of father/mother, mother trust, parent support, and parent lack of engagement, in male. This result meaned that parent trust, non-alienation, and parental pertinent support facilitate the career identity of late-adolescence.
Third, in career identity, it was showed that career-related lack of engagement, interference and father communication in that order of influence(R²=.162), in female. The other part, it was showed that career-related interference and alienation of father in that order of influence(R²=.132).

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 대학생들의 진로정체감이 부모 관련 변인 중, 부모와의 애착 및 부모의 진로관련행동과 어떤 관계를 맺고 있는지 남녀 성별에 따라 비교, 분석하고 있다. 총 362명(남: 125, 여: 237)을 대상으로 자기보고식 질문지를 사용하여 자료를 수집하였으며, 상관관계, t-검증, 중다회귀분석을 실시하였다. 여기에서 분석된 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 연구변인들 간 상관관계를 분석한 결과 부모의 진로관련행동 중 지지행동은 남녀 대학생의 진로정체감에 정적인 관계를 맺고 있으며, 간섭이나 관여행동은 진로정체감과 부적인 상관관계를 맺고 있다. 또한 남학생과 어머니와의 친밀감 요인 간 유의미한 상관이 없는 것을 제외하고는 남녀 대학생 모두 부모와의 애착은 진로정체감과 정적 상관을 맺고 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 둘째, 부모와의 애착수준에 따른 진로정체감 차이 검증 결과, 여학생은 양친과의 애착수준에 따라 진로정체감에 유의미한 차이를 보였으나 남학생은 아버지와의 친밀감 차원, 어머니와의 신뢰감 및 친밀감에서만 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 셋째, 부모의 진로관련행동에 따른 진로정체감의 차이 검증 결과, 부모의 진로관련 지지행동이 높고, 간섭행동이 적을 경우에 남녀 대학생 모두 진로정체감 발달 정도가 높았다. 마지막으로 부모와의 애착과 부모의 진로관련행동이 진로정체감에 미치는 영향력을 분석한 결과, 부모의 진로관련 ‘간섭행동’이 남녀 대학생들에게 공통적으로 진로정체감에 대한 부정적인 영향력을 갖는 요인인 것으로 나타났으며, 남녀 대학생 모두 어머니와의 애착보다 아버지와의 애착이 진로정체감 발달에 중요한 영향원이었다. 종합해 볼 때, 남녀 대학생 모두 부모와의 애착 수준이 높고, 부모가 진로관련 지지행동을 많이 할수록 진로정체감 발달이 촉진되며, 여학생은 아버지와의 의사소통이 활발할수록 남학생은 부모의 간섭이 적을수록 진로정체감 발달이 촉진된다고 할 수 있다. 그리고 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 후기청소년기의 진로발달에 중요한 영향을 미치는 부모와의 관계에 대한 중요성, 상담전략, 그리고 연구의 제한점에 대하여 제시하였다.
