In Korea, Aging has been proceeding rapidly and it is expected that society would enter super high aged society by 2030. Needs of new residential environment is on the rise to make quality of life improved in this background. However, researches for the aged of high-income group are mainly progressing Silvertown centrally and these are the side of developer and provider that different from researches which are the side of supply reactive that considered preference and activity of the aged people. Researches have been discussed for healthcare service introduction of residential space but space planning researches are inadequate considering definite deduction of planning element or user’s preference. So it is estimated that researches about space planning considering user’s preference and activity are vitally needed for planning advanced age friendly smart-home space based on healthcare for rapidly increasing population of aged people. Especially, smart-home which is able to manage physical condition of resident ,not whether having illness or not in everyday life has been discussed significantly. Therefore, a user’s preference survey was conducted considering literature about housing for older adults of healthcare base and analyzing application actual condition through case investigation of smart-home. User’s preference was deducted considering of characteristic of advanced age based on the result of the survey.
User’s preference in each item was highest for health and vitality, stability were followed. For the case of preference of sociality, it was half lower than other items. Awareness about smart-home based on healthcare was very positive because necessity was high which marked 2.0 for most items about planning element. But, frequency of use was low compared with awareness because it was un experienced. advanced age friendly smart-home was suggested based healthcare according with activity of advanced age and user’s preference based on considering literature, case investigation and survey. Ventilation and wind flow planning, automatic ventilation system, door sensor, illuminance and daylighting planning, emergency planning, position sensor, bathroom planning were suggested for common space planning element add to 3 type such as complete self-reliance, part self-reliance, complete dependence considering activity of advanced age.
In case of complete self-reliance, crime prevention/a plan for preventing disasters of hardware side and seal sensor of software side, behavior recognition sensor, automatic calling service(schedule management) were applied. In case of part dependence, entrance plan of hardware side and automatic calling service(taking pill and medical related) of software side were added. In case of complete dependence, automatic calling service(emergency and safety confirmation), mat sensor, guide service which are software side were added for planning element of complete self-reliance and part dependence.
Many planning elements are developed which applied in real life but it is insufficient for availability and medical service are offered with silvertown as the center. Therefore, in this research, healthcare base advanced age friendly smart-home was suggested as 3 type surveying general house, apartment which are preferred type of housing for many advanced age based on considering literature. This research make the aged’s life better that contribute vitalization of healthcare base advanced age friendly smart-home, and is expected to be used for baseline data of research for sustainability improvement of residential environment from now on.
