'도함수의 활용' 문제해결 과정에서의 오류 분석

The aim of this study is to obtain materials on which teachers need to focus to improve students' skills by classifying and analyzing errors made by high school students in the process of solving problems of ‘application of the derivative’unit, and identifying types of problems of this unit in which many errors appear.

This study is performed in the order of the development of research tools, the first preliminary experiment, the supplement of research tool, the secondary preliminary experiment, and the regular experiment and analysis. In order to develop research tools, we analyze tendencies of problems in‘utilization of the derivative’unit presented in the trial tests(June and September) and the national academic aptitude tests in the recent 3 years. Using the final research tools determined through the 1st and 2nd preliminary experiments, the regular experiment was carried out for 44 average high school students. Based on the data from this experiment, we analyze types of errors and error patterns in the process of solving problems of ‘application of the derivative’unit in high school.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 고등학생의 ‘도함수의 활용’ 문제해결 과정에서의 오류를 유형별로 분류, 분석하고 ‘도함수의 활용’ 내에서 많은 오류가 나타나는 문제 유형을 파악하여 학생들의 실력 향상을 위해 교사가 집중해서 지도해야 할 내용을 도출하는 것을 목표로 한다.
본 연구는 연구 도구 개발, 1차 예비 실험, 연구 도구 보완, 2차 예비 실험, 본 실험, 분석 순으로 진행되었다. 연구 도구 개발을 위해 최근 3개년 6월 모의평가, 9월 모의평가, 대학수학능력시험에서의 ‘도함수의 활용’ 문제 출제 경향을 분석하였다. 1, 2차 예비 실험을 통해 최종적으로 결정된 연구 도구를 사용하여 중위권 수준의 고등학생 44명을 대상으로 본 실험을 실시하였다. 실험을 통해 수집된 자료를 바탕으로 고등학생의 도함수 활용 문제해결 과정에서의 오류 유형과 도함수 활용내의 문제 유형별 오류 양상을 분석하였다.
