      다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

      In the study, optimize effectively the section of the truss which takes the multi-loading condition, and the allowable stress, bucking stress, displacement constraints into consideration.
      The algorithm of this study is made up of sectional optimization using the Quadratic Programing Method.
      The results of this study acquired by beenning applied to structural model of the truss are as follows :
      1. The algorithm applied in this study converges indipendent of the initial value.
      2. Comparing algorithm of this study with other algorithms the result of objective function make little difference.
      3. The algorithm applied in this study converges very rapidly at the optimun solutions in iteration with out oscillation phenomenon is all case .
      4. Optimizing section, the weight of structure could be considerably reduced. therefore section optimization introduced by this study can be used for the economical design.
