근대주의적 민족주의론을 넘어서 : 「한국 근대사회와 민족주의」(박도영)에 대한 논평

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This paper examines the limitations of the modernist interpretation of the discussions of Benedict Anderson and Kojin Karatani presented in “Modern Society and Nationalism in South Korea” written by Prof. Do-Young Park. He evaluated Korean nationalism and modern Korean society based on modernist standards. This article discusses the fact that Korean nationalism has elements that go beyond the standard of modernity based on a Western universal perspective. In addition, it evaluates the modern Korean society based on the alternative perspective of “Korean Peninsula Economics”.
