에니어그램을 통한 수술실 간호사의 존재감 회복경험 = Recovery Process of Scrub Nurses’ Presence through Enneagram

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Purpose: This study was carried out in order to understand the essence of experience of the recovery process of scrub nurses’ presence through the Enneagram and to develop a substantive theory. Methods: The subjects of this study were 14 scrub nurses, and the collected data were analyzed with open coding, axial coding, selective coding and process analysis based on Strauss and Corbin’s grounded theory (1998). Results: As a result of the analysis, 75 concepts, 24 sub-categories and 12 categories have been drawn out. the 12 categories include ‘excessive’, ‘loss of intimacy’, ‘demand for change’, ‘loss of presence’, ‘self-discovery’, ‘looking back’, ‘Making a conscious efforts’, ‘Making a continuous Motivation’, ‘self-acceptance’, ‘crouching’, ‘relations forming’ and ‘pushing away.’ The scrub nurses’ recovery experience though the Enneagram was a process of solving the phenomenon of ‘loss of presence,’ and as its core category, ‘recovery of presence’ was drawn out. Conclusion: The participants in this study recovered their presence as professional scrub nurses as understanding themselves and accepting others through the Enneagram.
