天符經을 통해서 본 東學과 多夕의 기독교 이해: 기독교의 토착화/세계화를 위한 水雲과 多夕의 한 접점 모색 = Dong-hak(東學) and Da-Seok(多夕)s Understanding of Christianity Seen through Cheon-bu-gyeong(天符經) - An Attempt to find contacting point for the Indigenisation and Globalization of Christianity

국문 초록 (Abstract)

“천부경을 통해서 본 동학과 다석의 기독교 이해-기독교의 토착화/세계화를 위한 수운과 다석의 한 접점 모색” 본 논문에서 필자가 주목하는 바는 수운의 동학사상과 다석의 기독교 이해간의 상관성에 관한 것이다. 일반적으로 동학은 한국민의 잃어버란 신을 재발견한 종교운동으로 알려져 있다. 즉 동학은 천부경의 삼재론을 근거로 서구의 기독교 충격을 창조적으로 수용하여 한국적 종교를 창발시켰다는 사실이다. 다석사상이 불교, 유교의 사상적 기틀 하에 기독교를 이해한 것은 틀림없다. 하지만 다석사상 속에 동학이 언급되지 않은 것에 필자는 의문을 품었다. 다석이 천부경을 순수 우리말로 풀어냈음에도 말이다. 다석이 표면화 시키지 않았으나 자신과 동학과의 내면적 관계성을 삼재론의 빛에서 밝혀내는 것이 본 논문의 핵심주제이다. 본 논문은 크게 네 부분으로 구성되었다. 첫째, 동학과 다석사상의 근간으로서 천부경 속에 내재된 삼재론의 탐색, 둘째, 다석의 기독교 이해 속의 삼재론적 특성, 셋째, 삼재론의 빛에서 동학과 다석의 기독교 이해 간의 공동구조 발견, 그리고 마지막으로 이들 간의 만남이 갖는 세계사적, 기독교 토착신학적 의미-생명신학의 관점에서.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

What I pay attention to in this article is the relationship between Su-wun(水雲) and Da-seok(多夕) in their thoughts. Ae is generally known, Dong-hak(東學) has been recognized as an independent national religion which rediscovered the forgotten God of Korean people. It is indicated by the fact that Dong-hak is a system of thought which has inherited and developed the theory of three foundations(三才)as the Worldview of Cheon-bugyeong. In this Paper, what I find to be missing in Da-seok’s thought is that he did not mention Su-wuns’s Dong-hak. Given the fact that Da-seok had much interest not only in Buddhism and Confucinism, but also in Cheon bu-gyeong. It is more or less unexpected that he took Dong-hak, which was closely related the Scripture, out of question in his writing. For this reason, the main task of this article is to correlate Su-wuns’Dong-hak and Da-seok’s thoughts(Understanding of Christianity) in the framework of the Idea three foundations originating from Cheon-bugyeong. In order to make these points clear, I will discuss the following in order. First, the theory of three foundations proclaimed in Cheon-bu-gyeong as the fundamental framework of both Dong-hak and Da-seok’s thoughts. Second, the fundamental feature of Da-seok’s understanding of Christianity, Third, comparison of Da-seoks understanding of Christianity and Donghak in term of their fundamentals structure. Lastly, the encounter between Da-seok’s Christianity and Dong-hak and its implications for the world history and theology of life.
