실업자의 심리적․신체적 반응 단계별 주요 증후군 분석 = Analysis on Major Syndrome Groups of Unemployed's Psychological Physical Reaction Level

The present study was to analyze the psychological and physical reaction level of the unemployed would be developed and the major syndrome be varied by the unemployed's distinctive characteristics. For 2 months, the data was collected from 293 subjects who have been unemployed over 1 to 13 months. ANOVA and linear regression analysis were used for the analysis of collected data. The summary of results is as follows; the major psychological and physical syndrome groups of the unemployed are depression, somatization, anger, low self-esteem, anxiety, interpersonal-sensitivity. There were no significant correlation according to the sex, the duration of the unemployment and the type of the unemployment. While positive correlations were found between age and somatization, between depression and education level and low self-esteem, between the whether or not he/she was a head of a family and low self-esteem, anxiety and depression. And also the times of the unemployment showed the correlation with anxiety, low self-esteem, anger, interpersonal- sensitivity, and depression. Social support system was verified the positive correlation on depression, somatization, anger, low self-esteem, anxiety, and interpersonal-sensitivity. The explanation of a prediction factor showed depression 12.2%, low self-esteem 8.2%, interpersonal-sensitivity 7.7%, anger 6.5%. Social support system and the times of the unemployment were the most influential factors. According to the result of the study, the psychological and physical reaction level of the unemployed was related with the social support system and the times of the unemployment and developed gradually. These two factors affected mainly on the characteristics of the unemployeds. This study demonstrated the importance of the psychological counseling and the consulting program for the social support system to consolate the unemployment stress. The counseling and the consulting program should be implemented by the reaction level and the characteristics of the unemployeds.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 실업자의 심리적․신체적 반응이 단계별로 진행되며, 실업자의 특성에 의하여 증후군에 차이가 있음을 검증하고자 하였다. 2개월에 걸쳐 1~13개월 이상 실업자 293명을 대상으로 분석하였으며, 자료분석은 분산분석, 선형회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 실업자의 심리적․신체적 증후군은 우울, 신체화, 분노, 낮은 자기존중감, 불안, 대인기피 등 6개의 변인들이 추출되었다. 실업자의 특성별 차이검증에서 성별과 실업기간, 실업유형 등은 기각되었으나 연령에서는 신체화, 우울, 학력은 낮은 자기존중감, 가장여부는 낮은 자기존중감, 불안, 우울, 실업횟수는 분노, 낮은 자기존중감, 불안, 대인기피, 우울, 지지체계는 우울, 신체화, 분노, 낮은 자기존중감, 불안, 대인기피 등에서 차이가 검증되었다. 학력, 가장여부 등에서 일부 심리적․신체적 증후군에서 차별을 보였다. 예언요인에서 설명력을 보면, 우울 12.2%, 낮은 자기존중감 8.2%, 대인기피 7.7%, 분노 6.5% 등으로 나타났다. 또한 가장 영향력이 높은 예언변인은 지지체계와 실업횟수로 나타났다. 또한 실업자의 심리적․신체적 반응이 지지체계와 실업횟수로 의하여 단계별로 진행되며, 실업자 특성에서도 두 변인이 증후군에서 가장 많은 차이를 보였다. 이러한 연구결과를 볼 때, 실업 그 자체가 큰 충격이어서 실업자의 지지체계를 위한 상담과 상담프로그램의 중요성을 확인하는 것이며, 또한 높은 실업횟수를 가진 실업자에 대한 상담과 상담프로그램의 제공도 고려되어야 한다.
