토픽모델링을 활용한 K-Pop에 대한 뉴스 보도 연구 : <케이팝 데몬 헌터스>와 로제의 <아파트>를 중심으로 = A Study on News Coverage of K-Pop Using Topic Modeling : Focusing on <K-Pop Demon Hunters> and Rosé's <Apartment>

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 그래미 어워즈 최초 수상 및 노미네이트로 K-Pop의 최정점을 보여주고 있는 <케이팝 데몬 헌터스>와 로제의 <아파트> 관련 국내 언론보도 양상이 어떠한 지에 대하여 토픽모델링 분석을 통해 살펴보고자 한다. 이를 통하여 기존 한류 및 K-Pop 관련 언론보도와의 차이점에 대하여 그 의미를 파악하고자 한다. 이를 통하여 세계적 주목과 성과를 달성하고 있는 K-Pop에 대한 국내적 시각을 분석하고 한류와 K-Pop이 지속 가능성을 확보하기 위한 시사점에 대하여 살펴보고자 한다. 연구 결과, 국내 언론이 한류 콘텐츠를 다룰 때, 콘텐츠 유형에 따라 담론적 확장 방향을 달리 구성하고 있음을 보여준다. 애니메이션과 같은 종합 콘텐츠는 국가적 상징자산으로 확장되며, 개인 아이돌은 글로벌 경쟁과 산업 가치의 맥락 속에서 재현되는 경향을 보인다. 따라서 본 연구는 한류 콘텐츠 뉴스보도가 단일한 담론이 아니라, 성과 중심 구조를 공유하되 콘텐츠 유형에 따라 재맥락화 방식이 달라지는 이중 구조를 형성하고 있음을 실증적으로 규명하였다. 더불어 본 연구는 K-Pop 뉴스 보도의 구조적 특성과 담론적 방향성을 통합적으로 제시하였다는 점에서 학술적·정책적 함의를 갖고 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study examines the domestic media coverage of "K-Pop Demon Hunters," which represents the pinnacle of K-Pop with its first Grammy Award win and nomination, and Rosé's "Apartment," using topic modeling analysis. This analysis aims to identify differences from existing media coverage of Hallyu and K-Pop. Furthermore, this study analyzes domestic perspectives on K-Pop, which has achieved global attention and success, and explores implications for securing the sustainability of Hallyu and K-Pop. The study reveals that when covering Hallyu content, the domestic media constructs discursive expansion differently depending on the content type. Comprehensive content, such as animation, is expanded as a national symbolic asset, while individual idols tend to be represented within the context of global competition and industrial value. Therefore, this study empirically demonstrates that Hallyu content news coverage is not a monolithic discourse, but rather a dual structure that shares a performance-oriented structure but recontextualizes differently depending on the content type. Furthermore, this study has academic and policy implications in that it comprehensively presents the structural characteristics and discursive direction of K-Pop news reporting.
