인천의 근현대 역사기록물의 디지털 아카이브 구축방법 연구

국문 초록 (Abstract)

한국의 근현대 시대상을 반영하던 인천 지역에는 역사기록물을 포함한 각종 형태의 근현대 문화유산이 산재되 어 있다. 그에 따라 인천의 지역성, 정체성 확립을 위해서 근현대 문화유산이 중요한 가치를 가지고 있음은 두 말할 나위가 없다. 하지만 인천 근현대 역사기록물은 기관별로 수집하여 관리, 보존하며 기관의 설립목적에만??부합되게 이용되고 있다. 그러므로 본고에서는 문화유산 범주 내 인천의 근현대 역사기록물을 위하여 문화기관??협력을 통한 디지털 아카이브 구축 방법에 대하여 논하고자 한다. 디지털 아카이브는 엄청난 분량과 다양한 형태를 가지는 근현대 역사기록물을 재가공하여 반영구적 보관이 가 능하게 하는 것을 넘어 인천의 근현대 역사와 문화에 대한 교육의 장으로 활용하여 지역 시민의 정체성 함양의??효과를 기대할 수 있다. 본고에서는 인천의 근현대 역사기록물 디지털 아카이브의 모형을 제시하고, 이를 위해 방법론적으로 고려해야 할 사항들을 제시한다. 먼저 초기단계로서 기록화의 목적과 범주를 구체적으로 정의하고, 전문적 실무팀과 자 문위원 구성에 대하여 논의한다. 이어 실제 인천 근현대 역사기록물 파악을 위하여 인천광역시립박물관과 인천 광역시 화도진도서관 향토·개항문화자료관의 소장현황과 관리 실태를 논의한다. 이어 근현대 역사기록물의 디 지털화와 표준화를 위해서 문화재청에서 문화유산 관련기관에서 개별적으로 진행하는 기록화 사업의 표준화를??위해 제시한 가이드를 인천 근현대 역사기록물에 적용한다. 마지막으로 인천 근현대 역사기록물의 메타데이터??설계를 위하여 기존의 메타데이터를 기능에 따라 비교, 분석 후 매핑하는 방식을 취하여 참조테이블을 작성한 다. 하지만 이와 같은 내용이 구체화되기 위해서는 정책, 기술, 예산 인력 등의 협의가 기반이 되어야 가능할 것이 며, 그러한 기반은 인천시청과 같은 지방자치단체에서 지역의 기록 보존과 시민의 정체성 확립을 위해 필요한??것이라는 인식을 가져야 가능한 일 것이다. 본고는 디지털 아카이브 구축의 밑그림을 제시하고, 그 필요성에 대 한 인식을 심어주기 위한 연구이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Various types of modern cultural heritage including archives are spread in Incheon which reflected the??phases of the modern times. Along with this, it is needless to say that modern cultural heritage has an??important value in order to establish the locality and identity of Incheon. Presently modern historical??archives in Incheon have been collected, managed and preserved by each institute and used in accordance??with the purpose of establishment. Therefore, this thesis intends to discuss the method of Digital Archive??construction through the cooperation with cultural institute for modern archives in Incheon in the range of??cultural heritage. Digital Archives is expected to have the effect of regional citizens' identity cultivation by utilizing it as the??field of education on modern history and culture of Incheon surpassing the purpose of enabling semi- permanent storage of modern archives through reprocessing them which have a huge quantity and various??types. This thesis suggests the model of modern archives' digital archive in Incheon, and to do so, suggests the??methodological considerations. First, it concretely defines the purpose and the range of documentation as??the initial stage, and discusses the composition of professional practical work group and consultant group.??Also, in order to grasp actual modern archives in Incheon, it discusses current status of possession and??management of Incheon Metropolitan Museum and Incheon Hwadojin Library rural·port opening cultural??material center. And in order for modern archives to be digitalized and standardized, it applies the guide??which was suggested for the standardization of documentation project which is progressed individually by??the institute related to cultural heritage in Cultural Heritage Administration to Incheon modern historical??archives. Lastly, a crosswalk is composed by taking the method of mapping after comparing and analysing??the existing meta data along with the function for metadata design of Incheon modern archives. However, in order for such contents are materialized, the establishment of discussion on the policy,??technology, budget, manpower, etc. should be prepared, which establishment can be possible when the??local government as Incheon acknowledges that it is necessary for regional record preservation and??citizens' identity establishment. This thesis suggests a sketch for digital archive establishment, and intends??to give an awareness of its necessity.
