      다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Yes, apartheid is bad. But the viciousness of black against black is worse. South Africa and the rest of Africa cannot help but amend themselves. In this process, they can and should learn from each other and reduce, to an appreciable degree, human suffering in Africa. An analysis of the parameters of the South Africa equation is offered. A warning signal is sounded to the danger of negative interference of pressure groups, such as the nonaligned states, the oil-rich Arab countries interfering in African politics, and the highly politicized World Council of Churches. Concrete proposals for dialogue include (1)practical African unity through complementarity of resources (human, scientific, technological, economic, and cultural); (2) acknowledgment of the role of nongovernmental organizations; and (3) spiritual insights from which both sides can meaningfully draw.
