      This paper answers the question, “Facing the era of ‘Hyper-Personalization,’ what are the methods and strategies that can emphasize the communal nature of the church without neglecting each individual’s values, preferences, and context?” That is the purpose. To this end, the study focuses on the relationship between ‘being together’ and ‘being alone’ that Bonhoeffer emphasized in 『Life Together』.
      And the relationship between the two led to the conclusion that ‘being together’ and ‘being alone’ are not separate from each other, but form a paradoxical community while acknowledging each other’s individual characteristics. To explain this clearly, Bonhoeffer gave examples of the relationship between ‘speech and silence’ and the relationship between ‘body and members’. Through this, it was revealed that the relationship between ‘being together’ and ‘being alone’ can only be properly understood through the Word. And on the basis of all these, he focused on the existence of ‘Jesus, who was alone because he loved others.’ Lastly, we looked at some of the practical and ethical significance of today’s Korean church, focusing on the meaning of ‘being together’ and ‘being alone’ as understood by Bonhoeffer. First of all, we must remember that the Korean church emphasizes both ‘being together’ and ‘being alone’ by Bonhoeffer. And secondly, when various customized platforms are provided that are specialized for each growth, interest, and generation, the content is also important. Ultimately, it is the Word that connects ‘being together’ and ‘being alone’ and makes them interact. Thirdly, Bonhoeffer's understanding that emphasizes the relationship between 'being together' and 'being alone' allows the Korean church today not to be an isolated entity that exists apart from the world, but to enable Christians to form a community of God's kingdom even in the midst of the world. The point is that it can guide people to fulfill their social responsibilities. This is because Christians must now verify the meaning of ‘being together’ as a community by ‘being alone’ in the world. Lastly, the relationship between ‘being together’ and ‘being alone’ ultimately leads us to Christ, the Word itself. In other words, it guides us to the relationship between the body and members of Christ. Therefore, it was emphasized that physical encounters that enable holistic experiences are more important in the era of hyper-individualization.
