한국 대학원 유학생들의 진로결정요인에 관한 연구 = A Study on the Career Decision Factors of Foreign Graduate Students in South Korea

In this study, we have explored the factors that influence career decisions after the acquisition of the graduate degree. And we investigated the effects of the school and the neighborhood on their career decisions. The analysis standard of the research has been settled by a literature research on career development and career decision theory. Career direction of the students were divided ``enroll in PhD`` and ``getting a job``. The preferences of residence after achieving the degree were staying in Korea, returning home, and departing to the third-world. The preference of job is as follows: professor of Korean department or professor of Korean-related departments at universities, interpretation, and a job that can take advantage of the Korean in trade-related businesses. In determining the career, as a personal factor, the job of the parents have shown to be important in deciding the studying abroad and future career. Social·environmental factors included marriageable age based on cultural background, and social recognition of the profession.
