The purpose of this study was to reveal the way the Central Asian students residing in Korea are dealing with stress in Cultural Adaptation, and the influence the Cultural Adaptation stress has on them. Five students from Central Asian countries were selected, with whom in-depth interviews were conducted and the influence of their cultural adaptation stress was analysed. The result of the study is as follows. The factors that influence the Cultural Adaptation stress of the Central Asian students is: first, it is difficult to keep up with the quickly quickly culture. Second, they experienced difficulty in greeting people based on the difference in age and position. Third, the difference in values showed that Koreans think of work as more important than family. Fourth, they received culture shock from Koreans making noises while chewing their food and eating quickly, the types of clothes they wear. Fifth, they said they had financial fear due to high prices in Korea. It was revealed that they experience homesickness and miss their parents when they get sick and receive culture shock. Based on the results of the study, the method to successfully and effectively overcome the influence of Cultural Adaptation Stress was presented. It is believed that with the help of this study Central Asian students can solve the problems of Cultural Adaptation Stress and lead a stable and active life as a student in South Korea.
