지각된 자율성, 관계성, 유능감과 대학생활에서의 학업성취, 정서적 적응과 주관적 안녕감과의 관계

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 자기결정성 이론에서 강조하는 기본적인 심리욕구인 자율성, 관계성, 유능감과 대학생활의 학업성취, 정서적 적응, 주관적 안녕감과의 관계를 살펴보았다. 자기결정이론 연구자들이 제안하는 기본적인 심리욕구가 충족되면 성취 및 적응적 행동이 증가하게 되며 주관적 안녕감이 증가하게 된다는 과정을 기본 틀로 삼아 자율성, 관계성, 유능감이 대학생들의 중요한 심리적 자원으로 어떻게 작동하는지 살펴보았다. 선행연구에서 성별에 따른 기본적인 심리욕구 수준의 차이를 시사하고 있으므로 성별에 따른 다집단 분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구에 포함된 잠재변인에 관하여 잠재평균분석을 실시한 결과 자율성, 관계성, 유능감, 정서적 적응과 주관적 안녕감의 잠재평균에 남녀 간 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 연구모형의 측정동일성을 검증한 후 모형내의 경로계수에 동일성 제약을 가한 후 모형을 비교해 본 결과 여학생 집단에서 남학생 집단에 비해 정서적 적응이 주관적 안녕감에 미치는 설명력이 큰 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과는 남녀 대학생 집단에서 기본적인 심리 욕구에 차이가 있으며, 학업성취, 정서적 적응과 주관적 안녕감을 다르게 예측하고 있음을 보고하고 있다. 따라서 남녀 대학생의 주관적 안녕감을 높이기 위한 개입전략을 달리해야 함을 시사하고 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The present study examined the relationships of the autonomy, relatedness, and competence to academic achievement, emotional adjustment and subjective well-being among university students. According to self-determination theory(SDT), autonomy, relatedness and competence were assumed as fundamental human needs which contribute to personal well-being. In testing the latent mean analysis as a multi group analysis, the difference in latent mean scores depending on gender were found in the variables of autonomy, relatedness, competence, emotional-adjustment and subjective well-being. In testing of the structural model invariance across the groups, almost no significant difference was found in the comparison of the base-line model with cross-group equality constrained models. However, a significant gender difference was found in the relationship of emotional adjustment to subjective well-being. The present study implied the importance of the fundamental psychological needs, such as autonomy, relatedness, and competence to understand academic achievement, emotional-adjustment and personal subjective well-being among Korean university students. Also, the results implies the necessity of different strategies to improve the students` subjective well-being depending on gender.
