분황 원효 『십문화쟁론』의 중심 내용과 주요 특징 = Main Contents and Key Features of Bunwhang Wonhyo's The Treatise on Reconciliation of Disputes in Ten Aspects

In this paper, we explore the Treatise on Reconciliation of Disputes in Ten Aspects, which is one of the representative books containing Wonhyo's thoughts of harmonization. Only a small part of this book is left today, so this paper examines the main contents and key characteristics of the remains on the 4 chapters of this book using recent research results.
First, I looked at the remnants of the Chapter of Reconciliation of Dispute on between Emptiness and Existence. Wonhyo declares that all four theories are correct, explains the reason, and presents several scriptures as evidence. It is presumed that this remnants corresponds to the section of judgment and this chapter is the first.
Second, the Chapter of Reconciliation of Dispute on the Buddha-nature is examined. In the remains, there are attack and defense twice between the theory of being on Buddha-nature and the theory of non-being. This part is thought to be the section of disputes in the chapter and this chapter seems to be the second chapter of this book.
Finally, I studied the citations of the treatise. The quotation of the Chapter of Reconciliation of Dispute on the Buddha-body equals to the section of verdict where Wonhyo harmonized two theories. And the quotation of the Chapter of Reconciliation of Dispute on the Seeds equals to the section of verdict where Wonhyo reconciles three theories.
