This study was to examine the effect of sports` activities on children`s prosocial behavior after school. Namely, this study was to analyze and compare the difference between pre-test and post-test in prosocial behavior such as the ability to control emotion, the ability to form the personal relationship, and the ability to adjust to school. To attain the goal of the study described above paragraphs, the children dwelling in Seoul, 2004 year were set as a collected group. Then, using random sampling method, finally drew out and analyzed 38 peoples in total; 18 experimented group and 20 controlled group. sports` activities was continued during 10 weeks. The material collection device was the brochure named 〈the survey on children`s prosocial behaviors〉. The result of reliability check up was here below; Chronbach` α=.80. To analyze materials, Mean Compared, ANCOVA were used as statistic analysis techniques.
The conclusion based on above study method and the result of material analysis are here below. First, the ability to control emotion was enhanced in experimented group. Second, the ability to form the personal relationship. Third, the ability to adjust to school was enhanced in experimented group.
