남해군 연안에 설치된 고정 어구의 유형과 기능에 관한 연구

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

  Along the coast of Namhae County are found various types of fixed fishing implements such as stone/rock fishpounds, bamboo weirs, and stationary nets. This paper deals with the location, installment, and operation of them. The stone/rock fishpounds, once distributed extensively along the shores of the Gang-jin Bay, the Ji-jok Strait, and the Ang-gang Bay, have been almost abandoned because of the fish drain from the coastal sea. All the bamboo weirs are installed and operated only in the two straits of Ji-jok and Sam-cheon-po. All the twenty-three bamboo weirs in the Ji-jok Strait and one in the Sam-cheon-po Strait are authorized by Nam-hae County government and the other twenty-one bamboo weirs in Sam-cheon-po Strait are authorized by Sa-cheon City government. In terms of fish catch, stationary nets are the most important among the various types of fixed fishing implements. Forty-six stationary nets are installed and operated along the coast of Nam-hae County and most of them are located along the eastern coast of Sam-dong Myun and Mi-jo Myun, and in the two bays of Ang-gang and Gang-jin.
