육아지원 전달체계로서의 시군구보육정보센터의 역할과 개선방안 = The Role and the Direction of the Child Care Informational Centers of Counties, Cities, and Districts as Delivery Systems

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study focuses on the role and the function of the Child Care Informational Centers of counties, cities, and districts as delivery systems. For this purpose, precedent studies on informational centers for child care and a survey on the workers’recognition of the centers were analyzed. The results of the study showed, first, that specialized and differentiated functions and more suitable services could be offered for supporting healthy family under these circumstances: the expansion of the number of facilities, the expansion of the centers through government expenditures, a business manual for more efficient operation, the discovering of various types of related business, and the arrangement of the roles between the centers. Second, according to the survey on the workers’recognition in these centers, it was found that there is a high demand for expenditures and support from national levels, and also for the expansion of the number of the centers and employees. Also, workers addressed the need for promoting publicity, an extensive guide for new centers and the directors of those centers on the supporting system and data on operation, and the enhancement of professionalism among the child care professional workers through the occurrence of regular seminars.
