초연결시대, 복수 정체성에의 욕망과 문학적 상상력

국문 초록 (Abstract)

사물과 인간의 연결 포인트가 급증하고 시간과 공간의 제약이 극복되는 초연결사회에서, 멀티태스킹이 가능한 ‘부캐’의 유행과 복수 정체성에 대한 현대인의 욕망은 필연적인 현상이다. 그렇다면 가상과 현실, 온라인과 오프라인 두 세계를 넘나들며 시간과 일상을 다양하게 쪼개어 살아가는 초연결시대의 우리는 어떠한 삶의 방향성과 태도를 지녀야 할 것인가.
본고는 윤이형의 소설 「굿바이」, 「쿤의 여행」, 「결투」를 중심으로 초연결사회 복수 정체성에의 욕망과 이데올로기의 함정, 주체의 해체와 재구성 방식, 분인(分人)으로서 우리가 나아갈 방향성과 그 가능성 등에 대해 살펴보았다. 그 결과 우리는 자본주의와 자아찾기의 함정을 깨닫고, 초연결이 만들어낸 기존의 자리들에 자신을 여러 개로 쪼개어 들어가는 방식이 아닌, 없는 자리들을 새로이 창조해나가는 생산적인 ‘분인-되기’를 지향해야 한다. 강한 연결들을 통해 멀티태스킹이 가능한 만능인간으로 거듭나는 것이 아니라, 초연결시대의 분인-되기는 끊임없이 결여를 통해 주체적인 관계, 인간적인 의미들을 만들어 내는 것이어야 한다. 더불어 주변적이고 이질적인 존재로 거듭남으로써 다수-지배자의 시선에 안주하거나 그것들이 제공하는 감각적 쾌락에 매몰되지 않는 대신, 유동적이고 창의적인 실천을 통해 초연결시대, 복수 정체성으로서의 새로운 인간의 역할을 실천해 나가야 한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

In a hyper-connected society where the connection points between objects and humans are rapidly increasing and the constraints of time and space are overcome, the trend of ‘Bukkae’ that allows multitasking, and the desire of modern people for multiple identities are inevitable. In the era of hyperconnectivity, we live by dividing time and daily life into various worlds, crossing virtual and real, online and offline. Then, what kind of life direction and attitude should we have as a multiple identity?
This paper has examined the desire for multiple identity and the trap of ideology in a hyper-connected society, the method of deconstruction and reconstruction of subject, and the direction and possibility that we will move forward as dividual focusing on Yoon Yi-hyung’s novels 「Goodbye」, 「Khun’s Travel」 and 「Dueling」.
As a result, we must realize the trap of capitalism and self-discovery. And we should aim for a productive ‘Dividual-becoming’ by creating new places that do not exist, rather than dividing oneself into several existing places created by hyper connection. In the hyper-connected era, ‘Dividual-becoming’ should not be reborn as an all-rounder capable of multitasking through strong connections, but it should be to create subjective relationships and human meanings through constant lack. And, rather than being settled in the gaze of the majority-dominator or being buried in the sensory pleasures they provide, we must be reborn as a marginal and alien being. Through fluid and creative practice, we must practice the role of a new human being as a hyper-connected era and multiple identities.
