청소년용 진로발달검사 개발 및 타당화 연구 = Development and Validation of Career Development Inventory for Adolescents

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 논문에서는 청소년을 위한 진로발달검사를 개발하고, 척도의 신뢰도･타당도 검증과 규준을 제작하여 표준화한 결과를 소개하였다. 제작된 청소년용 진로발달검사의 내용은 진로성숙도와 진로미결정으로 구성하였고, pilot 연구, 1, 2차 예비연구와 규준제작과 타당도 검증을 위한 본연구를 수행하였다. Pilot 연구에서는 문헌연구와 전문가 자문회의를 통해 진로발달검사의 구인 및 조작적 정의에 대한 의견을 수렴하고 확정하여, 문항을 제작해서 검사의 시간배정과 구성된 문항들에 사용된 용어나 문장에 대한 이해 용이성을 확인하기 위해 pilot 검사를 실시하였다. 1, 2차 예비검사는 문항선정을 위한 양호도 분석을 위해 중학교와 고등학교(일반/실업계) 2학년 1,303명과 1,199명을 대상으로 실시하였다. 이 결과들을 근거로 문항분석, 요인분석 등의 양적 자료와 문항 내용 간의 중복성 등을 고려한 질적 판단을 통하여 최종적으로 문항을 선정하였다. 선정된 문항들로 구성된 본검사를 기존에 개발되어 사용되고 있는 타검사들과 함께 타당화와 학교급 및 성별 규준 제작을 위해 중고등학생 2,719명에게 실시하였다. 구인타당도와 공인타당도 검증 결과, 개발된 청소년 진로발달검사는 내용적으로 타당하고 심리측정학적으로 양호하여 청소년들의 진로상담을 위한 기초 도구로써 매우 효과적으로 활용될 수 있음을 시사하고 있다.

The purpose of the present article is to report the development and validation processes of the Career Development Inventory for Adolescents(CDIA). CDIA is designed to assess adolescents' level of career maturity and indecision, and to identify causes of career indecision among adolescents. To accomplish the goal of developing a reliable and valid instrument, extensive literature review of previous research and empirical studies on career development, consultation with career counseling experts, and three data collection procedures were conducted. Total of 2,502 middle and high school students' responses were analyzed in the two preliminary studies to obtain psychometrically sound items and sub-scales. Another 2,719 middle and high school students' responses to final scales were collected to obtain psychometric properties and to construct norms for six groups(gender x school type: middle school, regular high school, and professional high school) of students. Results of the construct and concurrent validity analyses reveal that the CDIA is a reasonably reliable and valid instrument to assess adolescents' level of career development. Possible practical utilization of the inventory is discussed.
