한국의 국가정체성과 문화분석 = 한국의 문화학 연구를 위한 이론적 기초탐구

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

So many debates have been aroused about the speciality of East-Asian country including Korea at the time of IMF economic crisis. But those are not sufficient to point out the distinctiveness of Korea. So many explanation about this failure of debate could be proposed. In our opinion, it is connected with the tendency of our intellectual field in Korea, in which academic concern has been generally put on the genesis of western Nation-state. We believe that studies on the genesis of western Nation-State could not show us particularity of State-identity of Korea. Therefore the analytical viewpoint should be moved to another domain that we name Cultural studies in this article. We are eager to divide and explain 1. International-Internal politics relation (internalisation of external factor), 2. State-Civil Society relation, 3. Civil Society-individualisation process. This analytic viewpoint need the inter-disciplianary synthesis. The academic trial of this article will be helpful for the establishment of cultural studies in Korea.
