어머니들의 시각을 통한 영유아지원 방향 모색 = Groping for direction of effective education support for infants in Korea

국문 초록 (Abstract)

  본 연구는 영유아에 대한 지원이 사회적 요구로 받아들여지고 예산이 확대되고 있는 우리나라에서 좀 더 효율적인 지원은 무엇이며, 선결과제는 무엇인지 찾아보고자 하는데 그 목적이 있었다. 우리나라의 영유아 지원은 출산율의 증가, 여성의 사회참여 확대, 미래의 인재 양성이라는 목표를 가지고 있으나 유아교육기관의 이원화, 교사의 전문성과 그에 맞는 처우개선, 부모들의 영유아 양육에 대한 인식부족, 유아기까지 퍼져있는 사교육으로 인해서 본래의 목적을 달성하는데 걸림돌이 되고 있는 것을 알 수 있었다. 영유아의 교육에 대한 지원이 그 목적을 달성하기 위해서는 유아교육기관과 교사, 부모교육, 사교육의 문제가 선결되어야 할 것으로 보인다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

  This research aimed to identify what the more efficient support was and what the previous settlement was in Korea, where the support for infants has been accepted as a social request and the budget for that has been being increased. It was found that while the support for infants in Korea had purposes such as increasing birth-rate, expanding women"s social participation, and educating future human resources, the accomplishment of the original purposes were threatened by decentralizing of infant education institutes, professionalism of teachers and improvement of treatment corresponding to it, lack of patient"s understanding to care of infants, and early private education spreaded even to infants. In order that the support for education of infants accomplishes its purposes, it seems that the problems involved with infant education institutes and teachers, patient education, and private education, should be settled in advance.
