중학교 미술 교사들의 창작 활동 현황 : 서울 지역을 중심으로 = Present Situation of the Creative Activities by middle School Fine Art Teachers in Seoul Area

국문 초록 (Abstract)

창조력의 육성을 목표로 하는 미술 교과를 담당한 미술 교사들이 여러 가지 내부적 외부적 요인으로 인하여 창작 활동이 활발히 이루어지지 못하고 있다는 데에서 문제가 제기된다.
본 연구는 서울 지역 중학교 미술 교사들의 창작 활동에 대한 현황을 실증적으로 조사, 분석하는 데 그 목적이 있다.
내용은 서울 지역 중학교 미술 교사를 대상으로 창작 활동 여건과 창작품 제작, 발표 현황, 작가와 교사와의 상관 관계를 조사하였다.
연구 방법은 질문지에 의한 조사 연구이다.
질문지는 1989년에 서울특별시 교육위원회에서 발생한 서울교육 통계연보에 수록된 서울 지역 중학교 318개교(공립 201개교, 사립 117개교) 중에서 목적 표출한 184명(공립 116명, 사립 68명)을 대상으로 창작 활동 현황을 파악하였다. 백분율에 의하여 분포 상황을 알아보고 x^(2) 분석 방법을 이용하여 배경에 따른 유의도를 검증하였다.
그 결과를 종합하면 다음과 같다.
1. 미술 교사들은 매우 높은 창작 열의를 갖고 있으나 시간과 장소의 부족, 경제적 부담, 작품에 대한 자신감 결여 등의 요인들로 인해 활발한 창작 활동이 이루어지지 못하고 있는 실정으로 나타났다.
2. 작품 활동을 열심히 하는 교사가 교육적으로 효과가 높은 것으로 나타났으나 또한 많은 미술 교사들이 작가와 교육자를 별개의 문제로 인식하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 미술 교사들은 미적 체험을 통한 효과적인 교육에 대해 새로운 인식을 가짐과 동시에 작품 제작과 교육 활동이 서로 주고 받는 많은 상관 관계에 대해 사려깊게 살펴 보아야 할 것으로 지적됐다.
3. 미술 교사들의 미술계의 동향에 대한 관심의 정도는 미술 교육을 담당한 전문인으로서 볼 때 별로 높지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 한 교사에게 주어진 많은 학생들에게 미치는 파급적 효과를 생각해 볼 때 좀 더 많은 관심과 적극적인 노력이 필요한 것으로 나타났다.
4. 미술 교사 개인의 미적 체험을 통한 창조력 발전이 학생들에게 많은 긍정적인 영향을 미치고 있다고 나타난 통계 결과로 볼 때 창작 활동을 저해하는 여러 가지 요인들의 점진적인 시정과 함께 교사 자신의 작품 제작에 대한 보다 뜨거운 열의 및 적극적인 자세가 절실히 요구된다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Problems arise from that creative activities are not well actively performed due to insufficient conditions for the fine art trachers who take charge of the fine art major which goal is to grow crativity.
With regard to that point of view, the purpose of this study is to positively investigate and analyze the present situation of creative activities by junior high schools fine art teachers in Seoul area.
The contents of investigation include the conditions for creative activities, production of crations, the state of presentation, and interelations between workers(authors) and teachers.
For an approach to the study, questionaires were distributed to 184 junior high school teachers(Public 116, Private 68) purposely selected from 318 junior high schools of Seoul area (Public 201, Private 117) listed on the Seoul Annual Report of Education, to grasp their creative activities.
Stans of x^(2)-analysis, degress of significance with regard backgrounds were tested.
The following are synthesized and summarised results:
1. It is apparent that, even though fine art teachers have a very high fevor of creation, such activities were not well performed due to such factors as lack of time ＆ place, the economical burden, shortage of a confidence on works, etc.. Therefore, to encourage the creative activities which meet a high creative fevor of teachers, such things are required as placement or gild care, and economical support in an administrative dimension, and reducation on practical trainings of the major profoundly.
2. It appeared that teachers who participated eagerly in creative activities had educationally much effect, however, many a fine art teacher had an opinion that the worker(artist) and educator are not related each other. Therefore, it has been pointed out that fine art teachers should recognize a new idea of educational effect through aesthetical experience, and in the mean time, they should carefully look into the importance of interrelations between production of works and educational activities.
3. Though the degree of fine art teachers' concerns to the world of fine art is higher than that of ordinary people, however, in a viewpoint of that they are professional persons to take charge of fome art education, it appeared that they should give much positive effort to concerns on effective education.
4. With a viewpoint of that the development of fine art teachers' creativity throughaesthetic experience is only to have much positive influence on students, it is absolutely needed that there should be gradual adjustment on some hampering factors against creative activities as well as more positive fevor and posture on their own production of works.
