국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 대학생의 대학생활적응도와 자살에 대한 이론적 고찰을 통해 대학생 자살상담에 대한 기초자료를 제시하는 것을 그 목적으로 한다. 최근 급증하는 자살률은 전생애 발달주기에 걸쳐 표출되며, 특히 청소년에게 매우 높은 수준으로 분포되고 있다.
2007년 미국 버지니아공대에서 일어난 대학생 총기난사사건은 미국사회 뿐만 아니라 한국사회에도 시사하는 바가 컸다. 이처럼 젊은층의 자살이 단순한 사회문제로 치부되는 것이 아니라 광의적 개념에서 국가의 경쟁력 상실이라는 우려를 낳게 한다. 그러므로 대학생의 적응과 자살에 대한 연구의 필요성을 인식하게 된다.
이에 본 연구는 대학생의 대학생활적응과 자살의 개연성을 모색하여 대학생 자살예방교육 및 상담에 주요하게 사용될 기초적 자료를 제공하고자 한다. 특히, 대학생의 대학생활적응과 자살은 대인관계 및 개인의 내적 요인인 심리적, 정서적 안녕감과 깊은 연관이 있음을 파악하였다. 이를 근거로 향후 대학생의 자살예방교육 및 상담에서 이를 시기적절하게 탐색하고, 상담적 개입을 시도할 수 있는 제도적 방안 및 실제적 프로그램마련을 제언하는 바이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This research is to clarify on the relationship of suicide tendency and probability by adaptation to college life in counseling. The recent surge in suicide rate is expressed very frequently in the whole life cycle development. Especially the youth to commit suicide appears to be a very high level. 2007 Virginia Tech shootings happened in the college community as well as the Korea Society in the United States was very suggestive. Thus the suicide of college student is dismissed as a mere social problem, but in a broader concept of loss of national competitiveness concerns should embody. Therefore, an adaptation of college students and suicide is to recognize the necessity of research.
This study of the adjustment to college students and will seek an association of suicide. The study of suicide prevention education and counseling of students in the basic data will be used. Especially the interpersonal relationships of college students commit suicide and the psychological and emotional factors have been identified as important. Therefore, the suicide of college counseling program for the institutional and practical measures should be developed.
