    This research presents a numerical investigation of the open water performance of a pumpjet propulsor. The Single Blade Passage method was employed to simulate the rotational motion of the pumpjet's rotor. This method, which involves the direct rotation of the rotational area, simulates the rotational motion effectively. Since it constructs the domain using only a single blade and its surrounding grid, this method is cost-effective. The study applied this method to a pumpjet propulsor designed by KRISO. The present numerical results were validated with the results of the open water test performed in the large cavitation tunnel at KRISO. Changes in the thrust and torque of pumpjet propulsor according to advance ratio were analyzed by using SNUFOAM, which was open-source toolkit CFD code based on the OpenFOAM. The flow around a pumpjet propulsor were compared with previous studies.
