침습적 외상 기억과 외상관련 정서의 종단 관계 연구: 외상 후 6개월 이상 경과된 대학생을 중심으로 = A study on longitudinal relationship between intrusive trauma memory and trauma related emotions: Six months after experiencing trauma in undergraduate students

The purpose of this study was to examine the systematic relationship between intrusive trauma memory and traumna related emotions. Autoregressive Cross-lagged Model (ARCL) was performed to test the longitudinal reciprocal relationship between the two constructs. Results showed that intrusive trauma memory had not a significant effect on trauma related emotions, whereas trauma related emotions(fear, alienation, betrayal) had a significant effect on autobiographical trauma memory. The results of this study implied a focus on trauma related emotions may be important in the counseling process. The limitations of this study were discussed along with suggestions for further research.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 침습적 외상 기억과 외상관련 정서의 종단적 상호관계를 알아보고자 외상 사건 경험 후 6개월 이상 경과한 대학생 집단에서 자기회귀 교차지연 모형을 적용하여 검증하였다. 이를 위해 외상 사건을 경험한 대학생 참가자를 대상으로 1개월 간격으로 네 차례 온라인 설문을 실시하였으며, 이 중 네 차례의 모든 설문에 참여한 178명의 자료를 최종 분석에 사용하였다. 연구 결과, 침습적 외상 기억과 외상관련 정서(공포, 소외감, 배신감, 분노, 수치심, 자기비난)는 모두 시간 경과에 따라 안정적인 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 침습적 외상 기억이 이후 시점의 모든 외상관련 정서에 미치는 영향은 유의하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 반면 외상관련 정서 중 공포, 소외감, 배신감은 이후 시점의 침습적 외상 기억에 유의미한 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났으며, 분노, 자기비난, 수치심은 유의미한 영향을 주지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 외상관련 정서 중 공포, 소외감, 배신감을 높게 느끼는 사람들은 이후 시점에서 외상 기억이 침습적으로 떠오를 가능성이 높다는 것을 의미한다. 본 연구 결과를 토대로 연구의 의의와 제한점에 대하여 함께 논의하였다.
