초단시간 아르바이트 노동은 청년의 삶에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가 = How extreme part-time work affects young people's lives

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 노동법 사각지대에서 권리를 보장받지 못한 초단시간 아르바이트 노동을 수행하는 청년들의 노동 경험에 천착하였다. 이를 통해 청년에게 아르바이트가 갖는 의미를 구체화하고 청년들이 노동을 수행하는 과정에서 직면할 수 있는 사회적 위험과 사회안전망에 대한 이들의 인식을 살펴보기 위한 목적을 갖는다. 분석결과, 가치절하 되는 아르바이트 노동, 부당함을 감내해야 하는 아르바이트 노동, 양가적 의미의 아르바이트 노동, 사회안전망의 사각지대에 놓인 아르바이트 노동의 네 가지 주제를 도출하였다. 이를 바탕으로 아르바이트 노동을 수행하는 청년을 위한 정책 제언은 다음과 같다. 먼저 노동법 위반을 경험한 청년 노동자들의 신고 접근성을 높일 수 있도록 신고 방법 및 절차에 대한 정보가 다양한 방식으로 공유되어야 한다. 또한 사회보험의 사각지대에 놓인 청년 아르바이트 노동자들이 노동권을 보장받을 수 있도록 제도적 기반을 마련하고 사회안전망 강화에 대한 청년들의 인식 형성을 위해 관련 교육과 캠페인의 활성화가 필요할 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study focused on the labor experiences of young people who perform extreme part-time work without guaranteed rights in the blind spot of labor laws. Through this, the purpose is to specify the meaning of part-time work for young people and to examine their awareness of the social risks and social safety nets that young people may face while working. As a result of the analysis, four themes were derived: part-time work that is devalued, part-time work that must endure injustice, part-time work that has an ambivalent meaning, and part-time work that is in the blind spot of the social safety net. Based on this, policy suggestions for young people performing part-time work are as follows. First, information on reporting methods and procedures must be shared in various ways to increase reporting accessibility for young workers who have experienced labor law violations. In addition, it will be necessary to establish an institutional foundation so that young part-time workers who are in the blind spot of social insurance can have their labor rights guaranteed, and to vitalize related education and campaigns to create awareness among young people about strengthening the social safety net.
