큰금계국 추출물의 항염증 및 피부생리활성 효과 = The Anti-inflammatory Actions and Dermal Bioactive Effects of Coreopsis lanceolata extracts

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study was to investigate the possibility of the use of the extract of Coreopsis lanceolata L. on the anti-oxidant, keratinocyte protective, and anti-inflammatory activities as a safer and healthier cosmetic material. The total phenolic content of the extract of C.
lanceolata increased in the concentration-dependent manners. it also has the antioxidant activities including DPPH radical scavenging activity, ABTS scavenging activity and SOD-like scavenging activity were similar to those of the positive control group. The protective effect of the extract of C. lanceolata on the human keratinocyte HaCaT showed that H2O2-induced cell damage was significantly inhibited. In addition, the extract of C. lanceolata significantly suppressed the LPS-induced nitrite, PGE2, TNF-α, IL-1β production and iNOS, COX-2 expression in RAW264.7 cells. Therefore, these results suggest that C. lanceolata extracts can be used the development potential as a cosmetic material. The further study is necessary accordingly to find a standardization of the active ingredient .
